The Scottish Express states in a recent article that people who live within two miles of large wind turbines are reporting in a government survey such drastic health effects as headaches, dizziness, tinnitus, raised blood pressure, and disturbed sleep.
“Tens of thousands of Scots may be suffering from a hidden sickness epidemic caused by wind farms,” the story proclaims.
The article also points out that the kind of low-frequency sound emitted by wind turbines often cannot be heard, but can be felt. One survey respondent quoted in the story says, “It is bonkers that infrasound low frequency noise monitoring is not included in any environmental assessments.”
